On July 31, 2018, Law No. 190/2018 came into force, implementing measures for Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and the Council of April 27, 2016, concerning the protection of individuals regarding the processing of personal data and the free movement of such data, repealing Directive 95/46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation).

This law sets forth the measures necessary for the national implementation of the provisions of Articles 6(2), 9(4), 37-39, 42, 43, 83(7), 85, and 87-89 of the General Data Protection Regulation.

TEMAD CO SRL, identified by Fiscal Registration Number 6620400 and Trade Registry Number J08/2951/1994 (“TEMAD,” “we”), operates this website (“Website”). We take the privacy of individuals visiting our website (your privacy) very seriously. We are committed to complying with data protection legislation that governs the processing of your personal data and grants you various rights regarding this information.

1. Information We Collect

This Statement explains how we use personal information collected from or provided by users of our Website.

We collect and process personal information about you when you interact with us and our Website and when you purchase goods from us or use our Services. This includes:

3. Sharing and Disclosing Your Information

We share your personal information within TEMAD and with a group of companies involved in the processing described above. We may use your personal information to personalize marketing and advertising messages you receive on the Website or work with external companies for this purpose. Aggregated data may be shared with these companies for personalization purposes. Anonymous clickstream data, page view counts, and aggregated demographic information may also be shared with business partners and advertising companies.

We also use data related to your visit to the Website for statistical analysis to measure interest and usage of different areas of the Website. These statistics are shared with relevant advertising companies or external parties. However, we only provide aggregated data from these analyses, not user-specific information.

Personal information will be shared with third-party service providers (including technology consultants and CRM vendors) who, while providing services to us, will access and process the information you provide on behalf of TEMAD for the purposes identified above. These third parties include website hosting providers, maintenance service providers, IT and CRM providers. Each service provider is contractually obligated to operate in accordance with this Statement.

Our employees, agents, and contractors must have a legal organizational form to access your personal information. We also share your personal information with those assisting us in managing or providing Services (e.g., message board administration, statistical analyses, data processing, and order fulfillment) or external contractors, agents, or sponsors helping with contests and promotions. These contractors or external agents will only use your personal information for providing specific services to us.

If, in the future, we wish to share your personal information with third parties who are not our agents or service providers, we will notify you and provide you with the opportunity to object.

If our business is sold, merged, and/or transferred to another entity, your information will be disclosed to our legal advisors and the legal advisors of any potential buyer and transferred to the new owners.

Your personal information will be disclosed when necessary for us to fulfill a legal obligation or to protect our rights, the rights of our affiliates, the rights or safety of any individual or the public, or the rights of our users or third parties.

4. Marketing Communications

From time to time, we may send you information about other similar products or services offered by TEMAD that we believe you may be interested in (e.g., newsletters and promotional communications). We will only do this with your consent, and you have the right to object to receiving such information or the profiling for direct marketing purposes at any time. You can do this by:

5. International Data Transfers

We do not transfer your personal information to countries outside the European Economic Area (“EEA”). However, if this changes, we will inform you.

6. Security

We have implemented reasonable technical and organizational measures to secure your personal information against accidental loss and unauthorized access, use, modification, or disclosure.

We adhere to industry standards to protect the personal information you provide, both during transmission and after receipt. However, no method of internet transmission or electronic storage is 100% secure. While we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your personal information, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.

When we process personal information for contractual or service purposes, we retain it for five (5) years from your last interaction with us.

You have the right to request a copy of your personal information. You can also request corrections, deletion, restriction of processing, or the transfer of your data. Additionally, you can object to certain processing activities, such as direct marketing.
