With an investment of over 1 mil. of euros and the creation of over 50 jobs, the fiberglass mesh factory in Brașov, recently inaugurated, is one of the large-scale projects of the TEMAD PRODUCțIE company, a member of the Temad group.
Checked and approved raw materials, specialized staff and professional equipment are just 3 of the assets that underlie the principles on which the company bases its activity. The factory produces fiberglass mesh of 145g/m2 and 160g/m2, in different colors (white, orange, green, yellow), on rolls 1 m wide and 50 m long. Quality is paramount in the manufacturing process, therefore, each roll is carefully checked and approved by specialists.
Thermal rehabilitation – the solution for lower heating bills
Most of the blocks of flats in Romania, built according to projects developed between 1950 and 1990, have a low level of thermal insulation, and this translates into high heating bills. In the cold season, 40% of the heat of an apartment is lost due to the low degree of thermal insulation, although the tenants pay for it. In this context, the thermal rehabilitation of buildings is the best solution, both for reducing the costs of their heating in the cold season and cooling in the hot season.
Thus, fiberglass mesh plays a very important role in the realization of projects of thermal rehabilitation, both its quality and price significantly influencing the final result.
7 million sqm of mesh annual production Temad
The new fiberglass mesh factory in Brașov will have an annual production of approx. 7 million sq m, thus providing the necessary for the thermal rehabilitation of over 3,500 10-storey blocks.
Distribution in 24 hours, anywhere in the country
TEMAD has a national distribution network with 14 branches, regional warehouses and a fleet of over 160 vehicles, thus making deliveries in any locality, in 24 hours.
