HARD ENDURO PIATRA CRAIULUI (HEPC) is an OPEN competition, welcoming both Romanian and international competitors. It is also included in the official calendar of the Romanian Motorcycling Federation. Hard Enduro Piatra Craiului debuted with its first race in 2019, which was a great success, being recognized as one of the most beautiful races held in a remarkable area.
Hard Enduro is a spectacular sport that continues to grow globally. By hosting the stage in Zărnești, the organizers aim to promote the Brașov region and its stunning surroundings in a unique way.
Hard Enduro is a complex sport requiring a wide range of skills from riders: perseverance, patience, technical abilities, pushing personal limits, and physical fitness development.
HARD ENDURO PIATRA CRAIULUI 2024
Hard Enduro Piatra Craiului (HEPC) served as the 6th national stage in the Romanian Regional Hard Enduro Championship for 2024 and a stage in the European Hard Enduro Cup 2024. The event took place between June 28-30, 2024, in Zărnești, with a total of 155 competitors participating across six categories: Hobby, Profi, Expert, Veterans, and Women.
HEPC 6 is an OPEN competition, attracting both Romanian and international participants, and is listed in the official calendar of the Romanian Motorcycling Federation.
The enduro race hosted in Zărnești has become a benchmark for fans and practitioners of this extreme sport.
The General Secretariat of the competition was hosted once again by the welcoming Popasul Craiului, located in the Plaiul Foii area.
This year, TEMAD & WD-40 once again supported HEPC 6, providing all participants with WD-40 products—the multifunctional lubricant with over 2,000 uses—and prizes for the winning riders!

HARD ENDURO PIATRA CRAIULUI 2023
Extreme sports enthusiasts and riders from all over gathered at the foot of the Piatra Craiului Mountains in Zărnești from June 23 to 25 for Hard Enduro Piatra Craiului 5 (HEPC 5)—the national stage of the 2023 Regional Hard Enduro Championship of Romania.
This year’s competition featured the following classes: Pro, Expert, Veterans, Women, and Hobby.
Now in its fifth edition, the Hard Enduro race in Zărnești has become a benchmark for enthusiasts and practitioners of this extreme sport.
Hard Enduro Piatra Craiului is one of the toughest races due to its complex course, featuring steep slopes, speed sections, technical climbs, sharp descents, stream crossings, and one of the most beautiful due to the stunning location where it takes place.
It is a race full of challenges, an endurance competition brimming with adrenaline that demands perseverance, technical skills, and rigorous preparation from the riders.
TEMAD and WD-40 once again supported HEPC5 this year, providing all participants with WD-40 products, discount vouchers, and prizes for the winning riders!

HARD ENDURO PIATRA CRAIULUI 2022
CS Motokron Racing Team Zărnești organized the 4th stage of the 2022 National Hard Enduro Championship, held from June 24 to 26, 2022, in Zărnești, Brașov County.
The competition included the following classes: Pro, Expert (and Veterans), Women, and Hobby.
The event featured three days filled with adrenaline and challenges, with over 180 Hard Enduro athletes from across Europe competing in all five classes.
HEPC is gradually evolving into a festival of the motorcycle industry, where extreme sports enthusiasts and hard enduro lovers meet in Zărnești, Brașov, to take part in an exceptional sports competition.
