October 6-7, the 6th edition of the Mountain Bike, Metal Enduro competition took place in Resita, where over 120 athletes signed up.

Metal Enduro is the longest-running, well-known and appreciated enduro event in Romania, which starting with this edition is part of the Enduro World Series (EWS) Official Qualifier Events family. The competition took place over two days comprising 8 special events, each with its own characteristics including speed sections through the forest, tight turns, sections with small jumps and steep paths. During the 2 days of the competition, the total distance was 60 kilometers, 17 kilometers of special tests with a negative level difference of 2,250 meters.

The Metal Enduro event was completed with the III stage of the National Cup Trial – a real show on two wheels that delighted the spectators with the acrobatics done on bikes specially adapted to this type of sport. The trial stage included 8 tests in which the athletes jumped over different obstacles: pallets, cable rolls, logs, vans, a real strength circuit, perfectly set up in the Skatepark in the center of Resita. The event was thoroughly “enjoyed” by the audience of all ages.

Because we want to contribute to the development of cycling in Romania and encourage this lifestyle, WD-40 & Temad were among the partners of the event in Reșita. Thus all the athletes registered in the MTB Enduro competition & Trials received in the participation kit a lubricant for the bicycle chain from the WD-40 Bike range, and the winners each a set of products dedicated to the maintenance of the WD-40 Bike bicycle.

During the event, the WD-40 & Temad introduced WD-40 products to spectators and cyclists by performing practical demonstrations and offered samples of WD-40 Bike lubricant.

We are glad that we were partners of the event in Reşita and we hope that next year we will return for a new dose of adrenaline and courage offered by mountain bikers.
