Hundreds of children celebrated International Children’s Day in a festive setting at the event organized at Bran Castle, an occasion where the Bison Mascot made new friends.
And because the place is full of history, there were exhibitions of weapons and armor, siege weapons, battle demonstrations (with sword, saber, assault sword, jatagan, Dacian falx, dagger, halberd , trident, spear, axe, whip, battle whip, etc.), fighting lessons (sword, spear and shield) given by professionals, in complete safety. Thus, the little ones became for a few hours knights and princesses, worthy characters of a story. At 1:00 p.m., the celebrants watched the show “The Little Witch”, supported by the Children’s Theater “Arlechino” from Brașov.
The castle garden resounded with children’s voices and the Royal Park turned into a space for medieval games, culture and creation for children, who were invited to get involved in the interactive workshops, where they can create traditional dolls, I can paint on glass or wood.
