WD-40® SPECIALIST DRY PTFE – dry lubricant based on PTFE
It is a quick-drying spray based on PTFE, specially made for long-term lubrication of parts that are subject to frictional forces. PTFE (Teflon), i.e. PolyTetraFluoroEthylene is a hydrophobic synthetic substance that repels water or water-based substances and has an extremely low coefficient of friction with any solid body. Once a spray film is applied, the PTFE particles come into play and significantly reduce friction and contact between surfaces. In other words, gears, metal or plastic parts, roller belts, hinges and other elements that are in permanent motion will be covered by a protective layer that cancels wear and annoying noises. While Vaseline collects dust, this spray leaves a dry, non-shedding lubricating film that repels moisture so dust and dirt don’t stick.

It is a thicker consistency solution with high quality performance that ensures long-term lubrication without dripping or running. It is ideal for metal-to-metal applications, as it reduces friction and ensures smooth movement of components.

It is ideal, for example, to use it when we mount the rims on the car, because when we want to remove them, after a long time, the wheels seem to be welded to the hubs. If we use this spray, we prevent the rims from sticking to the metal parts and we can remove them very easily.WD-40® SPECIALIST Silicone Lubricant can also be used at home, in the case of finer gears, but also to pipes or faucets, before installation, so that they do not get blocked over time. WD -40® SPECIALIST DEGREASER – fast degreaser
Spray used to clean surfaces before using a lubricant. For example, the bicycle chain is cleaned with this spray from traces of old lubricant, after which we apply fresh petroleum jelly. After cleaning the mechanisms with WD-40® SPECIALIST Degreaser, we can use either WD-40® SPECIALIST DRY PTFE lubricant or WD-40® SPECIALIST Silicone Lubricant.
