Temad, one of the leaders in the distribution market in Romania, announces an exceptional start to the year, recording a 20% increase in sales in January 2025 compared to the same period last year. This performance confirms the company’s upward trajectory and the sustained development strategy implemented in recent years, during a challenging economic period.

Accelerated growth in the Construction & Renovation Division

The Construction Division has been one of the main drivers of this growth, recording a 23% increase for the most important brand in its portfolio – Bison – which includes a range of adhesives, silicones, and PU foams for construction. This result demonstrates consumers’ preference for high-quality products from trusted construction brands, as well as the efficient distribution strategy and strong partnerships that Temad consistently develops.

Another remarkable success within this division is the Mellerud brand – professional solutions for cleaning and maintaining surfaces, which has experienced a spectacular 107% increase compared to January 2024, with impressive deliveries in the Dedeman network as well as in approximately 1,000 stores across the country. This growth highlights the importance of educating consumers in choosing specialized solutions tailored to the diversity of surfaces in each household. Unlike the universal solutions of more well-known brands in Romania, the products in Temad’s portfolio offer optimal performance and exceptional results, ensuring long-term protection and efficiency for each type of surface.

PET FOOD Division: Over 135% growth

The PET FOOD Division, a strategic direction for Temad, continued to impress, reporting a growth of over 135% in January 2025 compared to the same month last year. The four dog and cat food brands in the company’s portfolio – Primal Spirit, Alpha Spirit, HappyOne, and EnergyPet – have seen steadily growing demand, strengthening Temad’s position in this rapidly expanding market segment.

“We are pleased to see this spectacular growth of the PET FOOD division, which confirms both the quality of our products and our strategy for developing this segment. We will continue to invest in diversifying and improving our offer, which now includes over 100 SKUs, to better meet the needs of our customers,” said Ana Maria Donosă, Marketing Manager at Temad.

Paints & Accessories Division: 27% growth for Vitex

The Paints & Accessories Division recorded a significant 27% growth, with the Vitex brand – the most well-known and important producer of washable paints, primers, varnishes, and enamels from Greece. Vitex products are internationally recognized for their superior quality and continuous innovation, holding numerous certifications: EU Ecolabel – eco-friendly paints, CLASS 1 EN-13300 – high resistance to frequent wet cleaning, IMSL – antimicrobial paints, COOL Paint – cool paints, Indoor Air Comfort – A+ Air Quality, based on advanced technologies for environmental protection and tested for lifetime impact. Among the most appreciated products are the ultra-washable paints with low VOC emissions, antibacterial solutions, and specialized paints for covering wood and metal surfaces. Over time, Vitex has received numerous awards for excellence and sustainability, confirming its position as a leader in the paint industry.

Forestry Division: The Oregon brand, a remarkable success

Within the Forestry Division, the newest brand introduced to Temad’s portfolio, Oregon, has experienced a meteoric rise. Added to the portfolio at the beginning of last year, this brand managed to reach the top 10 in sales in just 12 months. Oregon’s performance demonstrates the success of Temad’s expansion strategy and the adaptation of its offer to market demands, with a diversified range of chainsaw chains, blades, trimmer wires, and many other forestry and gardening accessories.
