BIKE RACE BRAȘOV 2022

On Sunday, October 16, the 7th edition of BikeRace Brașov, a mountain biking competition, took place in Brașov and was a successful edition with over 350 cyclists participating.

The routes took place on trail roads, forest roads, and also on the narrow streets of Brașov. The routes started and finished at Piața Unirii, near the First Romanian School, and continued on some of the most spectacular trails and forest roads around the old center of the city and in the Poiana Brașov resort. They are designed to offer a unique experience to each participant, depending on their level of training. They are equipped with control and revitalization points, carefully marked to create a safe environment for all competitors.

Pietrele lui Solomon, the old stone quarry in Poiana Brașov, Poiana Mică, Poiana Aviatorilor, Șaua Tampa, Poiana Stehil, are some of the areas where competitors reached by bicycle.

The competition included 3 events: Hobby 23 km, Challenge 39 km, E-Bike 39 km.

BikeRace Brașov aims to promote a healthy lifestyle. Both novice and experienced cyclists can discover, through participation in BikeRace Brașov, some of the most beautiful areas in Brașov by bicycle: Schei neighborhood, Poiana Brașov, and Mount Tâmpa.

TEMAD and WD-40 supported the event in Brașov by offering all participants WD-40 products.
