The first women’s rugby team in Romania was founded in Piatra Neamț 22 years ago by Professor Eusebiu Popa. The idea came to him in 1996 while he was with a boys’ team at a tournament in Italy. For over 15 years, Temad has supported the VENUS – Mațele Negre rugby team, and we are honored to stand alongside such a passionate and dedicated individual as Professor and Coach Eusebiu Popa.

“Karting is the first step in a racing driver’s career.” More and more children are developing a passion for automobiles. From toy cars to electric and motorized bikes, speed and sound capture their imagination. For them, taking control behind the wheel of a kart is a dream come true.

Since 2016, TEMAD has been the official sponsor of Brașov-based pilot Octavian Ciovică. Octavian’s passion for hill climb racing began at the age of 6 when he attended the Brașov stage as a spectator with his father.

The Temad Group of Companies supports the local community and promotes outdoor activities and the adoption of a healthy lifestyle. For the first time, the Transilvania University Cross was held under the umbrella of the Brașov International Marathon (May 19-20, 2018), marking an important step in the strategy to bring sports closer to young people. Temad and WD-40 Romania chose to be main partners in organizing this student-focused competition, which attracted over 450 participants.

Exercise, fresh air, and healthy eating are important for the harmonious development of children. Handball is one of the sports that helps children stay active in an organized setting, developing skills and habits that will stay with them for life.

The 11th edition of the DHL Carpathian Marathon powered by MPG took place on June 18, 2022, and was a memorable event. 1,400 runners from Romania and 15 other countries were present at Cheile Grădiștei Fundata and made possible the donation of a significant amount, over €20,000, to Romanian Paralympic athletes.

Joy, emotion, tradition, friendship, sport, and fair play! All of these were experienced by children and sports enthusiasts from the Brașov region as well as from Bucharest who participated in the 41st edition of the Olympic Day in Șirnea, which took place on June 23-24.

The 7th edition of BikeRace Brașov, a mountain biking competition, took place on Sunday, October 16, in Brașov and was a successful edition with over 350 cyclists participating. The routes took place on trail roads, forest roads, and also on the narrow streets of Brașov.

On May 1st, 2025, the commune of Măciuca, in Vâlcea County, successfully hosted the 12th edition of the Bike Fest Damila Măciuca cycling competition—an event that has become iconic for two-wheel sports enthusiasts.
