Florin Madar from Braşov makes 27 mil. euro from the distribution of building materials
A graduate of the Faculty of Commerce from ASE Bucharest, in 1986, Florin Madar, 51 years old, went into business at the beginning of the 90s, selling goods “with the net and with the Oltcitul”.
Father of two children, the entrepreneur says he has not looked for investors for a possible exit and hopes to be able to hand over the family business at the right time.
The company Temad Co, founded 20 years ago by Florin Madar from Brasov, aims to achieve a turnover of 27 million euros this year from the distribution of construction materials, the main area of activity of the company being represented by a group of 5,000 small profile stores, auto parts or chemicals.
Temad Co achieved last year a turnover of 25.2 million euros and a net profit of 1.4 million euros with a team of 226 employees, but against the background of a better start to the year, the entrepreneur from Brasov they expect a turnover increase of around 7% this year.
