Monday, April 12, 2010, at 20:00, the concert entitled Mozart Rocks, 2010 edition, took place at the Sala Palatului in Bucharest. The concert was sponsored, among others, by TEMAD Co SRL.
The original musical event offered a novel approach to classical music, by combining the sound of symphony orchestras with those of modern electronic instruments, in the interpretation of famous pieces by classical composers: Bach, Beethoven, Brahms, Handel, Strauss, Bizet and of course , Mozart, but also famous pieces of modern rock, in a new orchestration. The classic and the modern met again, the event having maestro Tiberiu Soare, conductor of the Romanian National Opera, at the lectern of the “George Enescu” Philharmonic Orchestra, along with special guests. In short: successful songs from past concerts as well as new songs, mounted in a daring scenography, the visual spectacle of projections, light games and special effects completing the sound universe and making this event a truly memorable one.
The concert took place for the benefit of the “Telefonul Copilului” Association.
