On April 18, 2026, the Cernica–Pantelimon Forest near Bucharest hosted “Ziua B”, one of the most important cross-country (MTB) cycling events in Romania and a well-established tradition for the local cycling community. With more than 11 successful editions, the event marks the official opening of the competitive season for amateur riders.
Organized by Riders Club, “Ziua B” brings together nearly 2,000 participants each year, making it one of the largest gatherings of mountain biking enthusiasts in the country. The atmosphere combines energy, competition, and community spirit, welcoming both experienced riders and beginners, as well as families with children.
The 2026 edition took place on the reserve date of April 18 due to unfavorable weather conditions earlier in the month, ensuring safe and optimal racing conditions for all participants.
The event featured routes tailored to different levels of experience, from children’s races to longer and more technical courses for advanced riders. More than just a competition, “Ziua B” remains a celebration of cycling, a chance to reconnect after the winter season, and an opportunity to reignite the passion for outdoor sports.

TEMAD, WD-40, UHU, and DUPLI-COLOR supported this year’s event by offering a WD-40 tube to all participants, while children received a UHU Stic.
