In 1953, after 40 trials, the Rocket Chemical Company found the perfect recipe, and the WD-40 product was launched. WD-40 being the abbreviation for “Water Displacement, 40th formula”.
The first company to use WD-40 commercially was Convair, an aerospace contractor, to protect the coating of the Atlas missile from rust and corrosion.
Starting with 1999, the Temad company starts a vertiginous partnership with the WD-40 Company and brings the range of WD-40 Multi Use products to the Romanian market. In 2009 we became sole importers and distributors of WD-40 products in Romania.

The formula of the WD-40 Multi Use product has 5 very important basic functions:
Eliminates moisture: Due to its property to remove water, WD-40 quickly removes moisture from electrical and electronic circuits, thus avoiding their short-circuiting.
Lubricate: One of the components of WD-40 Multi Use is active and permanent lubricant. Thus the product is used as an excellent lubricant for various gears. It should be noted that WD-40 does not contain silicone, which reduces the degree of attraction of dust and dirt.
Penetrate: For rusted or stuck mechanisms and metal parts, a spray of WD-40 is enough to penetrate between the parts and unlock them. It adheres very well to metal, and its lubricating properties ensure constant operation of the parts.
Protects: The product forms a protective film that prevents the penetration of water and moisture, thus eliminating the corrosive effects on metal parts.
Clean: Removes traces of grease, dirt and other residues from most types of surfaces.
