TEMAD is expanding its portfolio and bringing the KARBOSAN range closer to professionals. Founded in 1967, KARBOSAN is a Turkish manufacturer of abrasive materials. Over nearly six decades, the company has developed its production capabilities and now exports to more than 90 countries. Products for Cutting and Grinding

The KARBOSAN range available through TEMAD includes cutting discs for stainless steel and metal, grinding discs for metal, zirconia flap discs and diamond discs. They are suited to a wide range of applications, from cutting and working with metal and stainless steel to jobs involving concrete, brick, stone, masonry, ceramic and porcelain.

Diamond discs are available in segmented, Turbo and Turbo Wave versions, as well as continuous-rim and Thin Line Turbo versions. Depending on the model, they are designed for dry or wet cutting. For example, Turbo Wave discs have a wavy edge that allows air to circulate and helps the disc cool faster during cutting. The Thin Line Turbo version, just 0.8 mm thick, is designed for wet and dry cutting of ceramic and porcelain materials.

KARBOSAN cutting discs for stainless steel are formulated without iron or sulphur and allow precise cuts with minimal material loss. The Cut & Cut Plus version is designed for faster cutting and reduced heat impact on heat-sensitive materials. Zirconia flap discs are suitable for grinding steel, stainless steel and metal, including applications that involve removing large amounts of material.

Quality Control from Raw Material to Finished Product

KARBOSAN places great emphasis on quality control throughout the entire production process, from raw materials to the finished product. The company invests in research and development, including dedicated laboratories focused on improving product performance and quality. According to the company’s presentation, its products are safety-tested and OSA-certified.

The company’s management systems are certified to ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 14001:2015. KARBOSAN is a member of the Federation of European Producers of Abrasives (FEPA), and its products also carry TSE certification in accordance with TS EN 12413 and TS EN 13743. Product life and performance can help reduce production costs and the time lost replacing consumables.
